1. Why is learning Arabic important for understanding the Qur’an?

Arabic is the language of the Qur’an. While translations help, they can never fully capture the emotional depth, subtle meanings, and beauty of the original words. By learning Arabic, you experience the Qur’an the way it was revealed—touching the heart directly. Many native Arabic speakers are deeply moved to tears when reciting because they understand every word. This course will help you build that same connection.

2. What are the benefits of learning Arabic beyond the Qur’an?

Arabic opens doors far beyond Qur’anic study. It connects you with the global Muslim community, Islamic research, and authentic resources often available only in Arabic. It also strengthens your ability to travel, understand Arab culture, and communicate effectively with Arabic-speaking communities. With Arabic, English, and Urdu together, you can connect with over 70% of the world’s population.

3. How will this Arabic course be taught?

Our course is interactive and group-based, not just one-way lectures. We focus on two key areas:

  • Qur’anic Arabic: Learn simplified rules and common words through 100+ short lessons.

  • Spoken Arabic: Practice everyday conversation through stories and dialogues.

Instead of rote memorization, you’ll actively engage with the Qur’an, search for concepts, and enjoy learning in a lively, supportive environment.

4. How long is the course and what will I achieve?

The basic level runs for 4–6 months. By the end, you’ll understand around 70% of common Qur’anic words and essential grammar (singular, plural, dual, masculine/feminine forms). You’ll also be able to engage in basic Arabic conversation, making your Qur’anic study and daily interactions more meaningful.

5. How is the learning material designed to keep me engaged?

We believe learning should be enjoyable, not a burden. That’s why we avoid a single textbook and use a variety of methods, including:

  • Stories (like “Zafir and his Shadow”) to introduce vocabulary naturally.

  • Interactive activities such as word searches, sentence-building, and quizzes.

  • Multimedia such as cartoons, films, and clips to expose you to real-life Arabic usage.

This way, you’ll stay motivated while learning in a practical and fun way.

6. Can I also become a teacher after this course?

Yes! Our vision is to create a movement of Arabic learning. We encourage students to help in content development, syllabus building, and even teaching children. While becoming a full teacher takes time, you’ll be given opportunities to assist and grow as an instructor. In fact, dedicated students may receive financial support, discounts, or even payment for their contributions.

7. What is the course fee? Are discounts available?

The individual fee is Rs. 5000. But we offer generous group discounts—for example, if four people register together, one person’s fee is completely waived. Students who contribute to course material or teaching support may also receive additional discounts, or even free enrollment. The fee is set low, not as a barrier, but to ensure commitment and consistency.

8. Who are the instructors?

Abdul Allam lead instructor has over 15 years of experience in teaching Arabic, with formal studies at the Islamic University of Madinah (BS in Arabic, currently pursuing a PhD). He has trained students and families who are now prominent in Arabic education. Teaching Arabic is his passion and mission, not just a profession. Together with our dedicated team, we are committed to making the Qur’an accessible to everyone and preparing future Arabic teachers.

The initiative seeks to empower individuals to contribute to the service of the Quran and the Muslim community.
What unique teaching methodologies are employed to make learning engaging and effective?
The course emphasizes an interactive, group-based learning model. The instructor actively seeks student participation and feedback, adapting the teaching style to maintain engagement and prevent boredom, unlike rigid textbook-based approaches.
How does the course integrate spoken Arabic with Quranic studies?
Beyond Quranic understanding, a significant portion of the course is dedicated to spoken Arabic. While popular books are utilized, the course also features a uniquely developed syllabus with engaging stories designed to make learning practical and relatable. The aim is to make students comfortable using the language in real-world contexts, complementing their Quranic comprehension.
What is the course duration and what level of proficiency can students expect to achieve?
The first level of the course is designed to be completed in four to six months. Upon completion, students can expect to gain a basic yet solid understanding of Quranic Arabic, including approximately 70% of the common words and fundamental grammatical rules (like singular, plural, dual, gender). The goal is to enable them to understand the Quran directly, without relying solely on translations, and to begin developing spoken Arabic skills.
How does this course approach the teaching of Arabic for Quranic understanding?
The course employs a unique approach to teaching Quranic Arabic by focusing on the "emotional aspect" of the language, not just its literal meaning. It breaks down complex Quranic rules into simple, digestible lessons, often using engaging methods like storytelling and activities rather than just heavy grammar. The instructor aims to make learning active and enjoyable, helping students understand the nuances of words that are often lost in translation.
What is the primary objective of this Arabic language course?
The primary objective of this Arabic language course is to help students deeply understand the Quran and connect with it on an emotional level, beyond mere translation. It also aims to facilitate connection with the global Muslim community and the rich Arabic works produced across the Islamic world.
